Julia passed away peacefully on the 17th June 2026, surrounded by her family, in the care of The Shannon Ward, UHG. Pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy, her sister Mary (Giles), and her grandson Noel. Dearly loved mother of John, Tom, Val, Pat, Jimmy, Malachy and Rose. Julia will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her heartbroken family, her 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements:
Friday 19th June: Reposing at Sioroíocht (H91XH02) in the grounds of the Church of the Assumption and St. James, Claregalway from 5pm until 7pm. Please note that there will not be a removal into the church on Friday evening.
Saturday 20th June: Arriving at the Church of the Assumption and St. James Claregalway, (H91YH05) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Claregalway cemetery, where Julia will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Jimmy.
