Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Malone née Geraghty

Maunsells Road, Galway, and formerly of Lombard Street and Augustine Street, Galway City.

Betty, in her 96th year, passed away peacefully at Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway, with her two sons by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Sean Malone and much loved mother of Denis and Aidan. Deeply mourned by her sons, her brother Pat, daughters-in-law Ann and Geraldine, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren Jeff, Shauna, Bevin, Caolán, Garbhán, Fionn and Aifric, great-grandchildren Jack, James and George. Genevieve Parkinson and Ethan Moore, the extended Malone and Geraghty families, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street (H91 A786), on Tuesday 6th October from 5.00pm to 6.30pm, with removal afterwards to St. Augustine's Church, Middle Street.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 7th October at 11am. Following Mass, Betty will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery, alongside her beloved husband Sean and her stillborn baby daughter.

The Malone and Geraghty families would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for Betty, and everyone for their support during this sad time.
