Formerly of Balreask Old, Dublin Road, Navan, Co. Meath, and recently Millbury Nursing Home, Navan, Co. Meath

Patrick (Paddy) Gibney passed away peacefully in the Mater Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and James, his brother Jimmy and sisters Nancy, Girty and Peggy.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, son Malise, daughters Natasha and Rufina, their spouses Simon and John, his cherished grandchildren Bronagh and her husband Jeff, Jess and Daniel, great-grandchildren Quinn and Cleo, brother-in-law Tim, sister-in-law Rose, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Arriving at Cleggan Pier on Friday 9th October in advance of the 2.00pm ferry to Inishbofin. Removal to Saint Colman’s Church, Inishbofin, on arrival. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10th October at 1.00pm. Following Mass, Paddy will be laid to rest in Saint Colman’s Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, can be made in Paddy’s memory to the RNLI.

His family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for him, especially those in Millbury Nursing Home and the Mater Hospital, Dublin.
