Convent of Mercy, Tuam, Louisburgh and Glenamaddy.

Sr. Assumpta, Sisters of Mercy, Stella Maria, Galway and formerly of Convent of Mercy Tuam, Louisburgh and Glenamaddy, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 14th .

Predeceased by her parents William and Mary (Forde), her brothers John, Jim, Liam, Fr. Michael (SMA), her sisters Sr. Máire, Margaret (Duffy), Kathleen (Murray), Julie (Cahill), Christina (Slevin). Deeply mourned and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, sisters in law Phil and Kathleen, extended family, friends and the Sisters of Mercy Western Branch, in particular the community in Stella Maria.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Stella Maria (H91 XY93) on Thursday April 16th from 3.30 pm to 5.00 pm. Arrival on Friday April 17th at Cathedral of the Assumption, Tuam (H54 WP66) for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 am. Burial afterwards in the Convent Cemetery, Tuam.
