Jack passed away peacefully on Friday 21st August 2026, with his adoring son Aidan by his side in the wonderful care of the team at University Hospital Galway.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Bríd, and by his parents: Patrick and Julia; sisters Isobel, Marie and Alice; brothers Joe, Frank, Michael and Brendan.
Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his son Aidan, his sister Patricia (Chicago), adored grandchildren Ciara, Shane, and Aoife; his daughter-in-law Ruth; and by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Áras Naofa within the grounds of Saint Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore on Wednesday, 26th August from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Removal afterwards to the adjacent Church.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 27 th August in St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore. Following Mass, Jack will be laid to rest in The New Cemetery, Bohermore alongside his beloved wife Bríd.
