Julie passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Tuesday 15th September 2026, surrounded by her loving family and in the comfort of those who loved her dearly.
The family would like to sincerely thank all those who cared for Julie during her illness, and in particular the staff of the hospice for their kindness, compassion and wonderful care of Julie and her family.
Pre-deceased by her parents Margaret and Paddy Geoghegan, her sister Tina Noble and her brother Michael Geoghegan. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken family; her devoted daughter Theresa, her sons Anthony, Tommy, John and Paul, her siblings Mary, Bridie, Rose, Seamus and Paddy, her son-in-law Tom, daughters-in-law Anne, Ann, and Nuala, her grandchildren Laura, Darren, Eoghan, Rebecca, Jessica, Conor, Kayleigh, Aimee, Jamie, Luke, Melissa, Callum, and Kacey, her great-grandchildren Érin, Jamie, Saoirse, Emilia and Oscar, her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Julie will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her warm and loving nature, and the gentle way she welcomed everyone into her home. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her kind and gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Funeral Arrangements:
Thursday 17th September: Reposing in her daughter’s home at 18 Carraig Bán, Coolough Road, Galway (H91 Y26R) from 6pm until 8pm.
Friday 18th September: Arriving at St. Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Renmore for requiem mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Rinville Cemetery, Oranmore where Julie will be laid to rest.
