Helen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 15th September, at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents DJ and Catherine O’Shea, her brothers Patrick, Denis and Bartholomeu, her sister Nancy, and her niece Helen.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Joe, her children Karen, Collette, Liam, Kevin and Aidan, her cherished grandchildren Dylan, Jade, Kyle, Lucas, Alyssa, Elliot, Holly, Kaylee, Zach, Thomas, Ciara and Jamie, her brothers John and Thomas, her sisters Maureen, Peggy and Bridget, her sons-in-law Johnny and Declan, daughters-in-law Rebecca and Carol, and by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at St. Pio’s Room on Friday, 18th September, from 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Following the reposing, removal will take place to the adjoining Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11.00 a.m. on Saturday, 19th September, followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery.
The funeral cortege will travel via Helen’s home in Corrib Park on the way to the cemetery.
