Shellie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, on Sunday, 7th June 2026, in her 38th year, in the wonderful care of St. Peter's Hospice, Bristol.

Predeceased by her father, her grandfathers, and by her aunts and uncles.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken family; her devoted husband David Bailey, her beloved daughter Brianna, her cherished son Bray, and her loving mother Martina.

Deeply mourned also by her sisters Zoe, Erin and Leonda, her brother David, her grandmothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, and her many dear friends in both Galway and Bristol.

May her gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing at Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786), on Sunday, 14th June, from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., with removal afterwards to her grandmother's home.

House private please by request.

Shellie will arrive at St. Patrick's Church on Monday, 15th June, in advance of Requiem Mass at 11.00 a.m.

Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Lackagh New Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, may be made in Shellie's memory to St. Peter's Hospice, Bristol, or to The Galway Hospice.
