On Thursday, the 24th of September, 2026, Billy passed away peacefully at Galway Hospice, with his loving family by his side.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Pat, daughter Alison & her partner Tara, son Paul & his partner Jenny, much-loved granddaughter Gabriella, brothers Oliver & John, sisters-in-law Veronica & Annette, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Annie McCormack, brothers George, Tony, Gabriel and Eddie, sisters Carmel and infant Mary Margaret.
May he Rest in Peace.
Family flowers only. Donations to Galway Hospice if desired.

Funeral Arrangements:
Monday 28th September: Reposing at The Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue (H91 FH52), from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Removal will take place afterwards to The Holy Family Church, Mervue.
Access to the Funeral Parlour is through the main church entrance. A wheelchair-accessible entrance is also available at ground level via the church car park.
Tuesday 29th September: Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12noon in the Holy Family Church Mervue. Burial afterwards at the New Cemetery, Bohermore.
